Hey DC area bloggers!
Have any of you guys seen this site? It's v.v. cool - apparently, this guy seems to read a hell of a lot of local blogs (or has a lot of friends who help him, lol) and publishes small excerpts from each. I know, I was all pissed off about something like this a few weeks ago, but this is different. All entries trackback to the original post and he is writing a little blurb about how he found the blog or how he found something interesting in it. Not trying to pass it off as his own at all. I never even knew about this site but when I checked my stats tonight there was a referrer from there. Apparently my blog and a few others are listed on there as local knitting blogs (Wendy, Kristine, Chelsea and Lara were also mentioned on there along with some other blogs I don't immediately recognize. Hey it's 1am, after all.). It's kind of cool to have a place for the "go-to" on stuff like this. Okay, so I know I'm dorky, but hey, that's me. lol. If you want to make sure that your blog gets mentioned on there send an email here (b/c I know there are more knitbloggers than just the handful listed).
Edited to add (10.30am): I completely forgot about this last night, but Brooke helped the guy from DCBlogs out in finding some knitting blogs - as she mentions in the comments, she gave him the ones she reads. I'm flattered. Really, I am. Thanks Brooke!

Woops, it was I who gave him your address. He contacted me a few weeks ago about putting together a knit-blog section for his DC Blog. I debated about it for a while, checked out his site and wrote back and forth with him about how his blog worked. In the end, I liked his blog (I gather you did too) and thought it would be OK. Sorta no different than anyone else posting a list of blogs they read and one in a while he would put up a link to a section of your blog. So I told him about several DC Knit Bloggers that I read . . .
Keep up the blogging.
